Reasons for attending NTSI courses:

National Traffic Safety Institute (NTSI) courses are offered to help drivers improve their driving strategies and attitude.   Many states or courts allow individuals to attend an NTSI course to offset penalties related to a citation (traffic ticket) they have received.

Reasons for attending an NTSI course include:

• Reduction of fine and/or penalties
• Possible avoidance or reduction of driver “points” on their driving record
• Ticket dismissal
• Employer Requirement

• Parent directed for younger (provisional) drivers

If you have received a citation, before paying your fine, please check  with the court or licensing authority for eligibility to attend.  NTSI courses are interactive, informative and positive.  Attendees are afforded an opportunity to learn about improving their defensive driving strategies, collision avoidance and how to “survive the drive”.
